Preconception preparation matter?

Preconception nutrition and lifestyle lower risks of gestational diabetes, hypertension, and preterm birth.

Preparing before conception can improve fertility by supporting ovulation, egg and sperm quality, implantation, and placental health.

A well-nourished, balanced body not only increases your chances of conception but also significantly decreases pregnancy complications, supports smoother hormonal shifts, strong placental development, iron-rich blood to optimize oxygen-carrying capacity, supports fetal neurodevelopment, and provides more energy throughout your pregnancy.

A lower risk of complications such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm birth, and anemia.
-
Adequate nutrient stores prevent depletion of maternal supplies and ensure nutrient-rich blood flow to your baby.
-
Adequate nutrient stores for both mom and baby to
-
Faster recovery after birth, with resilient tissues and optimal nutrient reserves.
How Preconception Planning Makes It Possible
Since an egg takes about 100 days to mature and sperm take roughly 74 days, the changes we make together over the next three months will take time to unfold at a cellular level. During this window, each nutrient choice, sleep habit, and lifestyle adjustment supports the development of healthier follicles and sperm—laying the biological groundwork for conception.
Starting early gives you the space to nurture your body, balance your hormones, and calm your mind before pregnancy begins. It’s a slow, intentional transformation that not only improves fertility outcomes but also teaches you to understand your body, be an informed patient, and make educated decisions about your care.
Preconception Program pricing and details:
The Preconception Preparation Program is a virtual (Zoom-based) program consisting of one 90-minute initial visit followed by five biweekly sessions over three months (a total of six sessions) for $650.
If you prefer to pay per session, my initial session is $195, and the one-hour follow-ups are $125.
Our first session is 90 minutes and includes a comprehensive medical history and a current health evaluation. Together, we’ll assess your unique readiness by reviewing your current health, lab results, cycle-charting insights, digestive wellness, toxin exposures, menstrual cycle symptoms, energy levels, and more. I will use this information to create a customized plan for you that includes prenatal vitamin recommendations, foods to emphasize and avoid, and a focus for our program together.
The remaining sessions are one-hour check-ins that review and interpret your menstrual charting patterns, then focus on a deep dive into a single topic critical to your fertility and pregnancy outcomes.
These sessions will teach you how to:
-
Learn to track your menstrual cycle and notice positive changes.
-
Understand when you ovulate and whether your progesterone is high enough to support pregnancy.
-
Strengthen egg and sperm quality and build a healthy uterine lining for implantation.
-
Discover key foods and nutrients that support your baby’s early brain and nervous system development.
-
Support heart health and blood flow to nourish your uterine lining, blood pressure, and future placenta.
-
Keep your blood sugar steady to lower inflammation and support hormone balance.
-
Improve digestion so you can absorb the nutrients your body and baby need.
-
Build a healthy microbiome so your baby can inherit their best microbial start at birth.
-
Check if birth control or other medications have depleted important nutrients, and learn how to replenish them.
-
Spot everyday toxin exposures and swap them for safer options for you and your baby.
