The Integration of Brain Development and Reproductive Nutrition.
The goal of Nest Nutrition is to use the most impactful window of fetal neurodevelopment and combine it with reproductive nutrition. Doing so to give every brain all the nutrients it needs to build a solid foundation.
My approach integrates over 20 years of experience researching brain function, conducting learning disability assessments, and implementing nutritional interventions to support cognition.
Assessing nutrient levels using blood, urine, and saliva testing guides our work together to ensure the "ingredients" are sufficient for both fetal and maternal health.
Using my education, experience, extensive continued training in Functional Maternity and as a Certified Bredesen Protocol Practitioner, I help identify and address the root causes of inflammation and nutrient imbalances that impact irreversible neurodevelopmental windows during your pregnancy.
My foundation is a Bachelor's in Food Science, an MBA in Agribusiness, and a Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, with a focus on reproductive nutrition.
My goal is to teach you about your body and your pregnancy so you can be an educated and empowered patient.
Working together, we will assess and manage preconception nutrient stores, sleep quality, stress management, blood sugar regulation, microbiome health, hormone levels, menstrual cycle indicators, and much more to ensure they are within optimal ranges.
Together, we create a tailored plan to enhance focus, memory, and lifelong learning potential—giving your baby the best possible start for a thriving future.
I offer free introductory sessions to assess if this is right for you. Reach out to schedule your new beginning!

Why Work with Nest Nutrition?
1. I am passionate about nourishing baby’s brain and neurodevelopment
The period from preconception through the first two years of life is critical for brain growth and neural pathway formation. During this window, the brain exhibits remarkable plasticity—allowing experience and proper nutrition to shape neural architecture, myelination, and cognitive function.
By providing targeted nutrients and holistic support during this sensitive period, we help establish a robust foundation for lifelong learning, memory, and emotional regulation.
2. Root Cause Approach to Reproductive Nutritional Therapy
A holistic assessment to prepare you and your environment to produce the highest quality follicles, eggs, and sperm for fertilization.
We’ll assess:
-
Medical history, family history, genetics
-
Food intake
-
Thyroid function
-
Nutrient depletions that affect the quality of sperm and egg
-
prenatal vitamins and supplements
-
Menstrual cycle
-
Symptoms
-
Physical activity
-
Stress
-
Sleep
-
Social connection
-
Chemical exposures
-
So much more…
3. "Unrushed" sessions that take the time to teach you to understand your body, and make informed decisions.
Nutrition to support your medical care, pre-existing conditions, and fertility treatments, by spending extensive time teaching you what to expect in each trimester of pregnancy, what anatomical and physiological changes are happening and why, and how nutrition can support you and the baby in that phase.
Our goal is to help you feel informed and prepared for your doctor visits and to provide the information you need to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
