Maternal deficiencies of iron, iodine, folate, vitamin B12, and vitamin D are associated with impaired fetal and child brain development, including altered brain structure, neurocognitive deficits, and a higher risk of neuropsychiatric disorders (Cortés-Albornoz MC et al., 2021).

Pregnancy is the most important window of opportunity to improve cognitive,

motor, and socio-emotional development.

Let me show you how...

Why The Pregnancy Support Program Matters

The first 1,000 days—from conception through your baby’s second birthday—determine much of lifelong cognitive potential. During pregnancy, your baby’s brain forms over 100 billion neurons and begins wiring the networks that control learning, memory, and emotion. Nutrient sufficiency in this period can enhance:

  • Myelination and synaptic density

  • Placental nutrient transfer

  • Fetal brain oxygenation and energy metabolism

  • Long-term emotional and cognitive resilience

What will this program guide me through?

Trimester 1: Nutritional Foundations that Optimize Development

  • Learn how your body changes in each trimester to enable your baby to develop

  • Assessing maternal digestive function and nutrient absorption.

  • Nutrients to support early neural tube formation.

  • Minimize everyday exposures to toxins in your indoor and outdoor environment

  • Support progesterone production until the placenta develops

  • Nutrition to support you through morning sickness and food aversions.

  • Assessment of your thyroid and the nutrients required to support it.

  • Assessment of key nutrients required for supporting increased blood supply.

  • Managing blood glucose and hypoglycemia.

  • Nutrition to support placental growth.

Trimester 2: Growth Acceleration

  • Nutrition to support continued placental development.

  • How to fuel the rapid expansion of neurons and cortical growth.

  • Support thyroid function and blood volume expansion for fetal oxygen delivery.

  • Gestational diabetes and preeclampsia assessments - how to manage them if you are diagnosed.

  • Your microbiome is transferred to the baby at birth - learn how your diet can improve your microbiome diversity and resilience.

  • How to use nutrition to support prenatal depression and anxiety.

  • and so much more!

Trimester 3: Brain Myelination & Birth Readiness

  • Strengthen myelin formation, sensory integration, and collagen tissue for delivery.

  • Nutrients to support rapid fetal growth without compromising maternal supplies.

  • Your baby's skeleton is mineralizing - how to support this process without depleting yourself.

  • Foods to support iron absorption in the third trimester.

  • How to build nutrient stores to support postpartum recovery and breast milk production.

  • Learn about labor and delivery physiology and how nutrition in the third trimester can prepare you.

  • Understand how collagen is remodeled to prepare the cervix for delivery.

  • and so much more!

Monthly Nutrition Refinements

As your labs, symptoms, and needs change, your plan evolves—with real-time adjustments to maintain balance and optimize micronutrient absorption, metabolism, and energy regulation.

Minimizing inflammation, oxidative stress, managing blood glucose, and supporting cardiovascular health are the foundations to building your nest (aka a healthy placenta) and the environment your baby will have in-utero. A crucial aspect of that nest is minimizing environmental toxins that can alter fetal development.

Digestive and Microbiome Support

You’ll receive nutritional and probiotic strategies that improve nutrient absorption—key for delivering iron, DHA, and B vitamins essential for neural development.

What’s Included? Monthly virtual meetings that:

  • Assess nutrient intake and recommend improvements

  • Trimester‑aligned meal and supplement planning.

  • Support minimizing inflammation, regulating blood glucose, and optimizing your microbiome

  • Audit of toxin exposures with recommendations for replacing harmful products

  • Coaching for sleep, energy, and hormonal balance

  • Labor and postpartum nutritional preparation
