Postpartum
Program

Postpartum preparation begins in the third trimester with meal preparation, understanding how to fuel for childbirth, and for tissue recovery.

  • Are you so exhausted, depleted, or anemic postpartum that you can’t show up how you want for yourself or your baby?

  • Do you feel unsure what to eat (or which supplements to take) to actually heal, make enough milk, and stop feeling like you’re running on fumes?

  • Is your baby’s gas, colic, or formula/supplement needs leaving you confused about whether your diet—or your plan—is helping or making things worse?

The transition to motherhood is enormous. Working together gives you a direct link to get your questions answered in real time.

What Our Clients Say

I started working with Denise shortly after finding out I was pregnant and am so grateful for her wisdom and guidance. Most notably, she offered recommendations on key bloodwork for early pregnancy, identifying certain deficiencies before any doctor could! She has continued to guide me through my first pregnancy, and I know this whole experience would be much more daunting without her support.

Eileen B.

Denise is a wealth of knowledge and a professional who truly cares about her clients. She has guided me through my preconception journey with the upmost kindness and support. After having twins two years ago, I felt like a stranger in my body, not knowing where to begin with my health as I am preparing for my next pregnancy. Together we made a step by step plan that has given me so much insight to what my body needs and how I can support myself. I can’t thank Denise enough for warm and empathetic disposition, she is the support you need during this process.

Carley W.

Denise was essential to helping me feel my best, both physically and mentally, throughout pregnancy and postpartum. She recommended additional labs, interpreted my results with greater care than my doctors, adjusted what I was eating based on them, was a compassionate listener, and so much more. I couldn't recommend her enough and am looking forward to working with her for future pregnancies!

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

After almost 20 years working in assessment and tutoring of ADHD and learning disabilities, Denise wanted to focus on prevention.

Her experience using nutrition to support cognitive function in children and adults informed her decision to research the optimal period to prevent the learning disabilities.

Nest Nutrition is the product of years of experience, research into understanding embryonic and fetal neurodevelopment, and how sufficient nutrient availability in critical windows of neurodevelopment build the brain.

Why Work with Nest Nutrition?

1. We are focused on nourishing baby’s brain and neurodevelopment

The period from preconception through the first two years of life is critical for brain growth and neural pathway formation. During this window, the brain exhibits remarkable plasticity—allowing experience and proper nutrition to shape neural architecture, myelination, and cognitive function.

By providing targeted nutrients and holistic support during this sensitive period, we help establish a robust foundation for lifelong learning, memory, and emotional regulation.

2. Root Cause Approach to Reproductive Nutritional Therapy

Are you ready to get pregnant?
What’s your baseline?

We’ll assess:

  • Food intake

  • Supplements

  • Menstrual cycle

  • Symptoms

  • Physical activity

  • Stress

  • Sleep

  • Social connection

  • Chemical exposures

  • So much more…

Because your journey to motherhood deserves a plan as unique as you are.

3. Sessions that teach you to understand your body and make informed decisions

We support your medical care by spending extensive time teaching you what to expect in each trimester of pregnancy, what anatomical and physiological changes are happening and why, and how nutrition can support you and the baby in that phase.

Our goal is to help you feel informed and prepared for your visits with your doctor, and to give you the information you need to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
